Richard trained and qualified as a solicitor in 2000 at Denton Wilde Sapte. He moved to Bird & Bird in 2001 and to Aldridge Parker in 2003. Richard has been with Parker & Co since its formation in 2006.
Richard acts for corporate and individual clients across a variety of industry sectors. He advises on all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious, including employment tribunal claims, contractual and policy documents, terminations, restructuring exercises, post-termination restrictions and the protection of confidential information. Richard regularly acts for executives and senior employees, including reviewing offers of employment, service agreements, bonus arrangements and exit negotiations.
Richard also has considerable experience in advising on the employment aspects arising from commercial transactions including share and asset purchases and the issues facing both customers and suppliers in the private and public sectors in initial outsourcing projects and service provision changes.
In addition, Richard also advises on corporate and business related immigration matters, such sponsorship license applications, sponsor obligations and applications for initial entry and extension of leave under the points based system.
