Helen established Parker & Co in 2006 and is its principal.
She acts for Employers and individual clients across a variety of industries but primarily financial and professional services. She advises on contentious and non-contentious areas of employment law including litigation in the Employment Tribunals and the High Court. She also advises senior executives on termination arrangements, service agreements and bonus provisions. She is particularly known for her work in the field of high value discrimination claims. Helen is also experienced in advising Partners and Partnerships particularly in relation to matters arising from terminations and retirements.
Helen Parker originally gained experience in employment law at Eversheds where she became an experienced tribunal advocate acting for large employer clients such as local authorities, universities and companies engaged in the manufacturing industry. She also advised on industrial relations issues. Helen then worked at Dentons for 7 years where she primarily advised employers and employees in the financial services’ sectors and developed her experience in high value breach of contract claims and discrimination issues. Helen then moved to Bird & Bird where she became a partner in their Employment Department and gained further experience working for clients in the IT and Telecoms sector.
